Does the qualification fit in with GCSE qualifications?

If students were to complete unit 1, which is mandatory, and 4 others of their choice, they will be awarded the Diploma for IT users. This would give them a QCA score of 25 points, the equivalent of a grade F pass in GCSE.

  • E-Publication creation
  • Create a presentation
  • E-Image creation
  • Web page creation
  • Online communication

How long would the course be?

 A level 1 Diploma course is one 39 week academic year, which relates to 39 2.5-hour sessions at SKIDZ.

What are the benefits to the students?

By completing the qualification students would have gained a good working knowledge of the main Microsoft Office applications. Students would be able to go on to complete level 2 CLAiT Plus, which SKIDZ could also offer.

What is the cost to referrers?

Costs are £828.75 per academic year, per student or £8.50 per hour per student. (Includes £60.00 per student accreditation fees based on groups of 8 students)
