SKIDZ strives to provide a range of opportunities for young people in the Banbury area including;

- Training in practical skills
- Educational support
- Exciting and challenging opportunities
- Training for driving theory test and hazard perception
- The chance to become a safer, more responsible road user

The organisation was formed with the object of

1. Creating the opportunity for young people from Banbury and surrounding area to participate in challenging activities that offer new experiences, enhance skills and build a sense of achievement and self-esteem.

2. Allowing access to a workshop environment in which young people can learn skills in motor mechanics and allied trades which could assist in gaining employment or progression into training.

3. Creating opportunities for young people to develop responsible attitudes towards safe and legal driving.

The main target group consists of all young people in the community, with an emphasis on the less advantaged and those at risk.

SKIDZ - The Banbury Motor Project, aims to promote equal opportunity policies in all aspects of its work and training. It provides services and resources to all sectors of the community within the Banbury District.
